Art Reflecting Art: "Crimes of the Heart" & "The Crucible"

I love how art is reflecting art in our City of the Arts right now.  Visit Twin City Stage's Theatre Gallery to view the "Crimes of the Art" exhibit, a show that relates to Twin City Stage's current performance "Crimes of the Heart", and includes paintings, photography and sculpture. This show will be on display through April 11th. They're open 10am - 5pm Monday through Friday. Participating artists are: Jason Blevins, Rayford Harris, Douglas Hoover, Margot Robinson and Courtney Southern.

The Piedmont Opera is performing The Crucible, and also hosting an art exhibit in the lobby of the theatre of art depicting current-day persecution of women.

    Kristi,
    I was very fortunate to see this painting, "The Lady" by Jason Blevins, first hand last Thursday. Absolutely beautiful. The works of Margot, Rayford and Courtney were perfect for the show. Thanks so much for the mention!
