Crafty Love: Freezer Paper Heart Shirt
Happy Valentine's Day and all that jazz to everyone! I think the holiday has gotten to be a little over the top. I blame commercialism. I like to keep it simple. My daughter and I made her Valentine's to give her class. My little man wasn't feeling very crafty, so we stuck with the Pixar Cars Valentine's I bought on clearance after last year's lovefest. Suffice it to say that I hope you feel loved today and every day.
I came upon this easy craft from Cotton & Curls and I may do a variation of it with birds as well. "Put a bird on it." All it requires are:
- a T-shirt, (preferably one with stains on it that you are rescuing from heading to the trash. Lord knows I have plenty of those. err, I mean, the kids do. yeah.)
- freezer paper
- scissors
- fabric paint
- piece of cardboard
- sponge brush
- iron
- hair dryer (if you're in a hurry)
