Figure of Speech
1:00-5:00pm

Artist Lilly McElroy is inspired by metaphors and figures of speech. During this interactive performance various figures of speech such as “running out of time,” “cat got your tounge?” and “falling in love,” will be printed on small scraps of paper which will be drawn by participants out of a hat. Once the phrase is drawn, participants in groups will stage a visual representation or performance to illustrate their selection.
