Buy Local for the Holidays: Wood by Bob

Turned wood is beautiful. I especially love the rainbow stripes of my wood-turned ice cream scoop ($20) by local artist Bob Holtje. It coordinates well with sprinkles!

Bob's turnings include reasonably-priced handcrafted wooden bowls, pens, toys, boxes, miniatures, wine stoppers, key rings, vases, pepper mills ($45), desk accessories, spoon and knife handles, spinning tops, cutting boards and custom woodturning orders.

Bob Holtje’s woodcrafts can be seen in the Winston-Salem area at the Sawtooth School for Visual Arts,Cricket’s Nest, Tanglewood Barn, Green Hill Arts Centerin Greensboro, Uptown Gallery Group in Mt. Airy,Millstone General Store in Bethania, Mostly Local Marketin Lewisville, The Artful Gift Shop, Vienna VA, andwineries. He also does craft shows in the Washington, DC area and throughout North Carolina.
