Let's see, there are Farmer's Markets everywhere, including the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds Farmers Market (those goats and chickens from the fair are finally gone!), Shore Farm Organics will be at Thrive from 8am-10am on the corner of 4th and Broad St. and then the City Beverage Farmers Market Saturday from 12pm-4pm.
20th Annual Cornshucking Frolic at Horne Creek Living Historical Farm in Pinnacle featuring the harvesting, shucking, shelling, and grinding of corn! Saturday, October 15th, 10am-5pm. The "shuckfest" as I like to call it, celebrates the traditional harvesting, shucking, shelling, and grinding of corn. Cider making, woodworking, cooking, children's games, wagon rides, and numerous craft demonstrations. Free traditional, bluegrass, and gospel music by area groups. Chicken stew, pintos, fried pies, and apple cider will be available. $5.00 admission. Kids 6 & under: Free.
