The Children's Home, Inc. is located on Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem. Established in 1909, The Children's Home helps families and children in crisis. It is a child placing agency for family foster care, therapeutic foster care, and a licensed mental health residential treatment center and mental health day-treatment center. My Aunt’s House at The Children’s Home provides homeless teen mothers and their children with a home, basic necessities, adult supervision and guidance as well as the services they need in order to grow into healthy, strong families.
Affiliated with the Methodist Church, The Children's Home reaches out to those in need, embracing its mission to children and families, heeding the words of Jesus, "Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it unto me".
The campus of the Children's Home boasts of a farm where the children help grow fruits and vegetables for public sale (The strawberry patch is open!), and farm animals which the children help tend. A climbing wall is also available for groups for team building experiences. Come out to the Climbing Day event this Saturday $10 pp.

You can help. Visit the The Children's Home events, buy produce at their roadside stand and strawberry patch, ask about volunteering, sponsor an animal in their friendly barnyard, consider becoming a foster parent, or donate. Some items needed by the Children's Home:
