Sunday Snapshot: Hugs

Free Hugs Campaign Hugger I hugged in Charleston, SC

Hug O' War
 Shel Silverstein

I will not play at tug o' war

I'd rather play at hug o' war,

Where everyone hugs

Instead of tugs

Where everyone giggles

And rolls on the rug,

Where everyone kisses

And everyone grins

And everyone cuddles

And everyone wins.

  1. One of my favorite poems. And when I was in the 3rd grade my teacher had a sign you could go get and hold that let her know that you needed a hug. We all used it frequently.

  2. One of my favorites too! The kids love it. I love the "hug sign" idea! I'll have to tell my fellow preschool teachers about it!
