CUPCAKES! Local Etsy on the Left

This week's Local Etsy theme is all about cupcakes. Cupcakes make the world go round. Well, they should. These vanilla bean cupcakes, by Winston-Salem-based Sugar Custom Cakes, for example, are divine! And if you are dieting, that cupcake hair fascinator (accessory) takes the cake! It would be perfect to wear to your (or another's) birthday party. Toddlers should not have all the cupcake fashion fun.

Thank you for supporting local artisans and bakers!

Local Cupcake Esty is on the left. The Cupcake Ukulele is handmade in Asheville! Pricey, yes, but still worth drooling over.

Featured local Etsy seller: Rachel Qualliotine

(Not familiar with "Etsy"? See my earlier post HERE.)

Rachel is a native of North Carolina and a student here in Winston-Salem at the North Carolina School of the Arts. I bought these cupcake earrings with a gooey chocolate lipgloss center at
Washington Perk & Provisions Co., but it was a hard choice. I also love her army men, policemen and firefighter earrings! What a tribute to your favorite man in uniform it would be to wear those. Haven't been to Washington Perk yet? See my earlier post about it HERE. Click the cupcake to go to Rachel's Etsy site.
